Day 9 of chastity and more personal advice no one asked for 🙂
So, when you go from having a release once or multiple times a day to stopping altogether, your body's production gets a bit confused, trying to keep up with the sudden change. Your balls are gonna swell from not having release. This is known as blue balls—or, if you want to sound fancy, epididymal hypertension. I'd love to say I knew that off the top of my head, but let's be real, I had to look it up.
For me personally, only a few things can relieve it if we aren’t going to have a release:
1. A warm compress or washcloth. The heat helps increase circulation and relieve tension.
2. Pressure. We aren't talking CBT, but some gentle massage and pressure can help ease the discomfort a bit. You're not crushing your boys, but show them just a little bit of firm love. My technique is to take a pair of underwear with a somewhat loose elastic band and let that rest over them gently. Again, not crushing, and switching out to massage with a warm washcloth or compress.
3. Elevation. I like to use the same waistband and place it under the boys to elevate them for a bit when I'm sitting at the computer.
Important note: Discoloration, numbness, or intense pain? That is not blue balls. That means something is wrong with your chastity cage. It’s likely too tight and needs to be taken off. No self-respecting keyholder wants you to go to the E.R. for "toughing it out."
