Free market economics are often a thorny issue; this place being no exception.

While I agree with the principle that setting prices is the Sellers’ business and people should be free to charge what they like (in the sense that we Buyers shouldn’t question pricing or compare their prices to what other Sellers are offering), I also firmly believe that this is a choice that affects other Sellers. So, in another sense, it is not 100% the Sellers’ own business.

In my time here I’ve seen items which should cost at *least* $25 each offered at the bargain-basement price of $10 for two! I believe this is harmful to the market and risks chasing away legitimate Sellers who are getting tired of being told that their perfectly reasonable prices are too high.
Looking just from the perspective of the Seller's own situation with that Buyer in the moment, I’d like to provide an example for consideration (I’m using physical items specifically because they can only be sold once and I think they are the main crux of the issue) :

Let’s say a Seller is offering a physical item for an extraordinarily low price and gets the sale. For illustration’s sake $10 for an item normally selling for $100 (again, as extreme as this illustration is, I’ve actually witnessed something very close to this in the past).

Some possible scenarios for that situation::

1. All Buyers are broke and incapable of saving / spending any more money than that. The item wouldn’t have possibly sold for anywhere near its normal value. The Seller gets a sale that she wouldn’t have otherwise. The Buyer gets an item that he wouldn’t have otherwise.
2. That particular Buyer is broke, but others are not. The item *could* have sold for more. The Seller gets less money than she could have, but gets it more quickly. The Buyer gets an item that he wouldn’t have otherwise.
3. The Buyer could afford to pay the true cost, but is happy to take advantage of the offer. The item *would* have sold for more. The Seller gets less money than she should have. The Buyer gets an item on the cheap and is left with more money than he ordinarily would have been.

Now, what the Buyer goes on to do with that extra money is anybody’s guess as is the effect that cheap sale brought to the rest of the market. Again, without going down that particular rabbit hole and looking at purely from a pricing perspective, here are my two cents:

1. I believe that listings on this site should be treated like luxury items and services. Not in the sense that it’s only affordable to the top 1%, but in the sense that there are special things for sale here that people treat themselves to, like a nice dinner out, etc…. a place where the experience is valued and money flows freely, without haggling, to those providing the experience. And, like with a fine dining experience, the price should be *much* higher than the sum of the base ingredients because of the experience provided (when I buy socks or shoes, I don’t care if you’ve had them for 10 years and they’re on the way to the garbage bin, what *I* am paying for is the marks that your feet left on them, the scent that you filled them with and just the experience of having something worn by a beautiful woman that I enjoyed an experience with).

2. Since Sellers pay a flat rate to be here and most Buyers don’t pay a penny (and even Premium Buyers only pay $1.50 per month), the onus is on the us to pay a decent price for goods/services so that the Seller can make a reasonable profit and their monthly cost to be here never becomes an issue.

One of the benefits of playing with Sellers over time is that there’s more chance to build a connection and really get to know them as people. The more we communicate and play together, the more opportunity there is for those little encounters where you get a glimpse of the person’s true character. Sometimes circumstances allow that discovery to take place early-on.

The example I'm sharing today is one of those cases and, with all the negative experiences I see posted, I want to add some positive by giving a shout-out to one of the absolute gems on here!

I arranged a custom video with this Seller and immediately after the order was created, I paid quickly as I’m wont to do. I encountered an oddity on the process and, rather than confirming with her that I had the right account, I wound up sending to an older account that the Seller no longer had access to!

When she didn’t receive the funds and we discovered the problem, I paid for the order properly and told the Seller to not worry about the other payment since it was totally my fault; it was a lesson to me about making assumptions (because of how I paid, there was no process for me to reverse the charge).

Over the next week or so, this Seller worked with the provider to regain access to her old account and, after all of that trouble, she sent the entire amount back to me!

@Elless – The way that you went through that trouble and refunded me when you didn’t have to absolutely blew my away! The content you created for me is outstanding and would have kept me coming back for more on its own, but seeing how beautiful you are on the inside too made the experience all the more amazing! Thank you for everything you’ve done for me and for making site a better place! 😊

One term that *really* rubs me the wrong way is "Hard-earned money"; specifically when it's used to emphasize how hard we Buyers work for our money that we then spend on the Sellers.

A few thoughts :

1. If it's such a big deal to part with that money that you have to remind everyone how hard you worked to earn it, then it's probably not a great idea to spend it on luxuries.

2. As hard as we may or may not work for our money, I'll wager that these Sellers work twice as hard for theirs. I know that some of my requests can be demanding and I can't *imagine* the work that goes into bringing those fantasies to life. Just because they make it *look* easy, doesn't mean it *is* easy.

3. Whatever stress we endured earning that money, these beautiful Sellers make it all melt away in the experiences they provide to us

Sellers who have worked with me know that I like to get payment out of the way quickly. My ideal state is to forget that the money was even spent at all and fully indulge in the fantasy of having a beautiful woman making my deepest desires come true.

To me, it’s far more productive and enjoyable for all parties involved when we Buyers give freely and generously, focusing on what amazing experiences we will be *receiving* for that money, rather than what went into earning it.

I'm seeing a trend with some buyers saying it's boring here 🙄🙄🙄.

There are literally thousands of Sellers to play with, some of whom could keep you happily occupied for years as long as you're willing to spend.

So, when you say you're bored, I have to think what you really mean is that you can't find a Seller desperate enough to entertain you for free 🤔. That sucks for you 🤡, but the evidence of Sellers realizing their worth en-masse absolutely warms my heart! Good job ladies! 😊

I witnessed something earlier that made me think it's time to repost this. Funny thing is, times are decidedly less tough than when I originally wrote this, but some guys still want to pay bargain bin prices for luxury experiences 🙄

Times are tough. Almost all of us are feeling that and there is a certain amount of frustration and even shame when we are unable to afford something. At the same time, these are luxury services that nobody is entitled to and we shouldn’t expect others to adjust to our circumstances.

Making the Seller feel the need to adjust to *our* financial situation (when their expenses have gone up too) or enter into an awkward conversation about prices doesn’t help anyone. Better to thank them and set a later date when we’ve saved up enough to pay the cost. If the service is truly more than we can afford or are willing to spend, best to politely decline (I’ve done both of those in my time here).

That should be enough on its own, but for those of us (both Buyers and Sellers) who believe that prices being charged are “too high”, I have assembled something that may be of use.

There is another place that I occasionally play and a half dozen Sellers there that I have purchased pre-made content from. First of all, premade videos for under $5 US simply don’t exist there; no matter how short they are. Additionally, 2/6 of the Sellers I’ve dealt with don’t offer customs at all. Of those who do, here are their rates (again, all in USD).

I’ve categorized two of the Sellers as top level and two as mid-level. While the pre-made content I purchased from the top Sellers is all top-notch, content that I bought from *both* mid-level Sellers contain slight errors, showing that they couldn’t be bothered to re-shoot the video or don’t have a quality control process at all. My experience with the Sellers on ATW is that almost all of them have more pride in their work than that; some to an *insane* degree (and I love them for it!).

Keeping that in mind, here are what the different Sellers charge for custom videos in that other market (NA means that option is not available from that Seller. Note that options sometimes offered freely on ATW are either not available in the other market or are charged for).

This has all left me feeling even more grateful for the incredible service the Sellers provide to us here on ATW! It is a true blessing to be able to indulge and interact in this way at an *incredibly* reasonable cost.

One final thought. On this other site, all payment is done through the site and the site takes 40% of the sale cost and 20% of any tips paid to the Sellers. This incentivizes Sellers to keep their prices reasonably high and also means that they never operate at a loss. In effect, the Buyers are paying for the site every time they make a purchase. It sounds like Admin is working on a way to make Kink Coins work better for everyone so maybe this will be possible in the future.
